I agree with esn. When you have Jubilee in the game, it's hard to find a character that's also strength 1. Besides, she's a damn good telepath, and she attacks mostly with astral projections. And I think Invisible Woman and Jean are at 4 - obviously due to their powers and not physical strength, which is why I said Jean was too good. When you look at Cyclops big muscles (which I don't necessarily agree with, but alas, it's the sprite), it's hard to see him hit softer than her. I agree that Sue needed a boost because she's slow and her powers are not very agressive, so it's good that she hits harder than Jean, who is much faster. Anyway, you probably have thought this through much more than I did, since you have the full roster in mind.

About Jean, sorry, I meant calling her by the name "Phoenix". With that outfit and the pink TK powers, she's just "Jean Grey", not "Phoenix". I understand you couldn't find a suitable logo for her, which is why you named her "phoenix". What about the cartoon's opening scene? There was a Jean logo on it (attached, though you can't see it full).

On Fantastic Four mode, why don't you add Storm to the new roster? Didn't she join with Black Panther?

Vision's air beam would look better if he stops in the air while firing (cyclops does that!).

Black Widow's machine gun should hit enemies behind the first one (you already changed that for some other character... warmachine? punisher?). 

Suggestion for Hawkeye: make his exploding arrow (current full mp special) work like Cyclop's diagonal beam and normal command fires exploding arrow horizontally -  or use another special arrow for DF+A with full mp (shock, stun, triple, web).

dont have huge changes to power 2 to 3, if i change cyclops to 3, then i will move a lot 2 to 3 too, like punisher, gambit, and fews will be 2.

only reason why i call her phoenix was because im lazy, i found a phoneix logo and dint found a jean grey logo

i forgot storm, i could add her in future, because it will need a grid update to make her be close at F4 chars.

BW machine didnt hit all because if i do it i must incress her range, but speed of thos move was incressed a lot if you compare to 2.6

save are enabled, but i figured the crash problem, because somes maps are shared with story mode, i cant do that :(
i will fix hard mode tonite too :)
 
Question: what exactly is different in Hard Mode? Is it only enemy life increased, or did you place more enemies or increased the group size? All of the above?
 
Mainly size of groups, somes boss have more life and agression and less 1up itens and green globin at jail are not npc

About the friendly fire...
IMHO maybe i'm not too good in this game 'cause I have been beaten to the bone in many levels, but I think friendly fire is not necessary . If you play 2 players (like my girl and me - yeah she's noob) we have plenty of enemy fire to dodge to already.
In the mission of Red Skull we have so many fire from the enemies that I feel like playin'  Axelay and R-Type. hehehehe

Ah, ok!

Not bad then, but do you have to manually change each Hard (and Replay) mode level, each time you add something to normal mode? I ask to know how invested would you be in receiving specific feedback for stages. I'd guess making changes to stages with so many similar modes are terrible to keep track of. So... is having a Hard mode worth it? Aside from having unlocked characters available from start, do people play it? I rarely play Hard - much prefer Replay mode.

Oh, you should give BlackWidow a gun! Then make a "Agents of SHIELD" mode. :D

About the icon issue, it happens in the Jail stage too.
To fix that issue, open "huditem" and change the "setlayer" to this:
setlayer 10000

if this still doesn't fix the error (I can't check it right now), change the value to this:
setlayer 1001001000
This value makes it appears in front of almost EVERYTHING on the screen.

Buddy, I was going to help you with something but my RL got nuts and I wasn't able to, I am really sorry.
I was going to send you some new things like Iron Fist's smart pal, an idea for Elektra's super move and others, but since you will update it so soon, I won't be able to finish in time.

and there was no line to put this but

hulk and she hulk need some boosters, mainly hulk...would love some kinda rage meter or aura that would give them increased strength or something....or a grab and attack like you gave beast, spiderman, cap...etc...
 
Ok, 2 more comments/suggestions:
- stage 3: remove select screen after sky level. You havent played yet, why change character? ;)
- juggernaut run sound is annoying after a couple of times. Place it on run attack.

- Added Iceman and Darkhawk to Asgard
- Fixed Space Silver Surfer Beam
- Added uppercut to arhcangel run attack
- fixed Save at hard mode
- New walk to agent of shields
- fixed moon knight boomerang layer
- fixed marvel item layer

Been playing the MFA2 and now Black Panther is now my new favorite because he has a fast 5 hit main combo and thanks to his new grab attacks makes him a contender taking down mooks well just like Wolverine.
 
You need to add a freeze palette to playable chars, they arent getting blue when frozen.

US Agent (boss) is shooting away from the screen.

Some bosses are way easy to beat when cornered (like T. Mary and Nebula). You shouldnt allow us to hit them in air.

There is a part in the jail stage that we an left the symbiontes behind, but later we have to wait for them. Can you allow the player to go back and kill them? Or "cancel" them, when left behind (maybe making harder to avoid them).

Today I played again, now with my wife. She only plays with women... looks like I have a big reason to finish Spider-Woman and Mockingbird!  ;)

Are you working on Mockingbird already? She is on Agents of SHIELD...

These are one of the very few bosses that are subject to wall. Maybe that's what could be changed.

I noticed that with magneto on X-men remake, but didn't think it was all playable chars (I can't try VS mode... :( )

This is something I think all levels should have: wider areas. When there's a pause/stop and new enemies come, you should be able to go back a little, and not be enclosed to a single screen. Some fights get really crowded.
