And speaking of horses, I was playing (on android) with the Elf on a horse level (The secret of the Rock, I think) and I couldn't hit anything with the arrows. I'm not sure if there's a real bug there, but maybe it's worth a look at the attack boxes or something...
 
Wow I didn´t know that you were basing most of the bosses from the monster manual from D&D...that explains it then...I didn´t finish the game....but does your game has another kind of hydra boss that shoots fire or acid?? there could be fire hydra or acid hydra for bosses in the future perhaps? ;D...or perhaps an huge slime boss

Those interrupt moves could be interesting for some other bosses, so that the player  can be more tactical and attack only when opportunity arrises instead of mashing buttons like crazy....anyway I will eagerly await future updates..and I definitely going to recommend this to an friend of mine that is too an huge D&D fan...your game made me go back to my AD&D days and conan the barbarian comic books reading  :)

GREAT Pierwolf ! I'm playing it right now, i waited a bit before starting playing, seeing you're doing updates. That's cool !
1 bug, 1 suggestion :
- Engine crashes after 5-6 "load game" (engine given in your package) (I have WinXP x64 - yes, it exists)
- VERY interesting reload feature, except I think it would be nicer to restart from the beginning of the mission (for the challenge) and possibility to change player after a reload ? Right know I'm stuck with a level4 Elf against Skadvoarix, it's tough ! I'd like to fight him with the good ol' fighter :) Nevermind I'll do it !

mmm... i don't have this problem... strange... but the game is only intended to work on psp and pc, so if it have problem on android i don't know how to fix it.  :o

the pyro and acid idra are good ideas... maybe some other time  ;) thanks for the comments

1- can you post your log file? i don't know what to say since i've never experienced crashes with the engine i've put in the package. have you unpacked the game and changed something, by chance?

2- i'm sorry but it's impossible, is an engine rule. use the elf' quickness and range to stay away from it and strike from far!

mmm... i don't have this problem... strange...
It happens on pc too.

I think your attack box is too high or too small. It is really hard to target, so I always stomp them instead.

UPDATE : the game seems to crash only when I choose "Bilinear Filter" (with OpenGL option) in Video Options. Since I removed it, no prob ! Must come from my graphic card.

may I tell you that your job is a masterpiece?

Though I cannot pass any of the easy quests I think this game is wonderful and you recreated in a beat 'em up the same sense of weakness that D&D gives when you are at low levels.

I cannot report any bug as (like I said) I cannot get through the first level.

Keep going (if you think that it is needed), IMHO this game is perfect as it is.

I'm the same. And just like D&D, starting with the fighter (or cleric) is the best way to ensure your survival at early levels. :)
 
When I'm in the middle of a game, and I press 2 player start button, 3 player start button or 4 player start button, the game immediately punts me back to desktop. This works whether I'm on keyboard or joystick. I'm on Windows. Does anyone else have this bug?
 
Hi pierwolf.

I finished the games with most of characters and I liked to suggest some changes (if they can be done of curse ;))...

I have found out that each character gain the same hp, this is not very good as the mage (for example) got the best and powerful spells of all the other abilities so Theese are my suggestions:

- Hp gain is best the same hp they have at the start, so worrior gets 12 hp per level and cleric gets 8 hp per level, etc.
The mage got the same hp as the cleric, this is unfair coparing the spells they have. So I suggest starting with 6 hp for the mage + 6hp per level, empowering a little the fireball and lightning spells.

-Same about MP gaining, although the mp gaining rate changes, it is unfair that all of character gain 10 mp per level from mage to barbarian, it can be reduced a little the mp cost of some warriors abilities instead.

-Paladin: i think Paladin is perfect, but I suggest to reduce to 2 mp gaining rate and max mp and lower the power of call lightning as it strikes  multiple times for 50dmg per hit. This makes a ridiculous damage especially against enemies that don't fall down. Maybe make it strike only once per enemy, also reducing the damage .

-Returning to warriors type, I suggest to make them gain 1 point of damage (for normal strikes) every 5 levels, I think this makes them much more interesting.

-Last but not least, the ancient dragon breath makes too less damage, only 20, I suggest to improve the damage to 50 as at that level players got a lot of lives. If you think that the inverse gravity makes 40dmg you can see this is unfair too.

Theese are only suggestions, but your game is a really good game!!!!! VERY GOOD!!!!

i had it on my wii and played it with a couple friends before
we even finnished it but not without troubles
i wanted to get it again (i lost my sd card) but i can't seem to be able to download it from the link on previous page
 
hi everybody

first of all thank you all again for the feedbacks.
in this period i'm really busy with real life, i'm moving to a bigger and nicer home where to live, and i'm working for the transfer and furnitures and all this sort of things (Finally i will have a house big enough to fulfill my childhood dream; an arcade cabinet!  ;D).

anyway, i will be busy at least until july/august, so i don't think i will update anymore until my return. i've send count mounte some of my unreleased works for the D&D mod he and bloodbane are working on, so in the meantime i wish you all best of luck for all your projects and lives!

Hey man, congratulations on your new home.  And thanks for all your hard work on your awesome mods.  I hope you plan to poke around on the forum from time to time offering your valuable knowledge.  I know I'll definitely needed for my rushing beat mods.
