But sometimes you will need to change the scale (no constrain proportions) individually.

Check Flash's thigh (is as big as Superman's one) x Aquaman's thigh x Tornado's thigh, etc.

hum, you had used the random combo finisher, right? I think its a nice touch.
It makes the game less repetitive.

flash is fast so youd expect his leg muscles to be chunky, sprites look good.
I am not talking about Flash.

Yes, I like the random combo finisher. I'm thinking about adding random hits in the middle of combos, but I need more sprites for that.

I agree. Unfortunately what you see in the video is pretty much the only attack sprites I have to work with... and I'm not very good at sprite editing to make new moves. I will try and figure something out though.

I am thinking about adding a system for his gadgets like Ilu did with Hawkeye in the Avengers. Maybe have a couple different things to choose from, Batarang, smoke bombs, grappling hook. We will see!

Well, what about just using their pain sprite then add stars above their head?

About Batman, have you considered adding a move in which he shoots his grappling hook to sky then swing forward kicking any enemies in front of him?
 
Got an idea after playing the flash on gba. Does anyone know if there is a way to slow down everything on screen except for one character? Thought that might make an interesting ultimate move for Flash

Quick update. Unfortunately I am not able to update screen shots or videos for a while, but I came up with an interesting idea, and I'm not sure if anyone has done it before.
I am only planning on having 2 colors for each character, but depending on which color you choose there will be some different special attacks or maybe even ultimate attack. I already tested out the code with a basic attack and it worked.
What do you think?

Will the different attacks be balanced to each other?

I haven't really decided yet. Some may just be different attacks that do the same damage, while others may be an attack that has a different effect.
For example, Batman's air special is a flash grenade that stuns the enemy. His alternate color attack might just be a grenade that explodes.

I just like the idea of something being different when you choose an alternate palette for a character other than the color
