Idea for a Mod/ Game

Hello

I have an idea for a game: Streets of Rage: Mutant City. Here is the story:

  Frustrated by his plans being constantly twarted by Axel and his team, Mr. X is confronted by a mysterious 'doctor' Dr. Ovo with a preminition to control Wood Oak City by transforming the ctizens into brainless mutants  that are under control of Mr. X via gas released from an unknown factory.
Dr. Zan recieved info from two teenagers about the threat, he contacts Blaze to investigate.  Around the same time, General Ivan Petrov has mysteriously vanished not dismissing this as a mere coiincidence, she also informs Axel, who has now become a Grandmaster. Upon recieving this both Adam and Skate set off to help also they called Max for extra muscle. Reports of a horrifying mutant was sighted in the shopping district terrorizinng town, the team set out to combat this, the two teenagers appeared and aided the them. the teenagers are revealed to be Ricky Jones and Johnny Hart (the heroes from SNK's Mutation Nation), who Axel confirms are his model students. After defeating the mutant, they discover that it was a horribly mutated Petrov, Zan creates an antidote and cures him. He creates a series of antidotal nanites to administer to the team. All seven sets out to find and destroy the factory and stop Mr. X once and for all.

is there any way of ripping  an entire spitesheet  of one character without playing and possibly berating the game? Will spite tracer do that, or do i hae to manually  rip the sprites?
 
crusoe371 yes, but depends of which platform and game.
There are several ways to do it using emulators and such.

I was able to access this menu with a The Magic Sword and that's what threw me off photos like this....scrambled images it would be like working a puzzle gave me a head just staring...it would take me a month just to put the pieces together lol.

crusoe371 Does it have to be 3?...I found those characters sheets but they were from 2.... I don't think you will find it under MAME...initially it was released for the Sega Genesis later it was released for the Japanese version of Sonic Gems Collection for the Nintendo GameCube and PlayStation 2, and for the Wii Virtual Console in September 2007 and appeared in Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. I have an Genesis emulator on my Playstation classic called Retroarch but it was made for PC so can use it on the computer as well it will allow you to take as many screen shots as you want but I don't how you would get the whole sheet or every frame you need. This is the problem...it just stumps me every time. I have I can't ever find the character I want. If I find Batman I can't find the villains if I fine Superman the same problem.  If I had the tools I think I could make something but its so frustrating finding specific things.
 
nevermind, i have got  them. Thank you. I am also wondering these: When I am trying to design a level in openborstat either the panels cannot be displayed or the color is a bit garbled do panels need to be indexed or how do I get around this? Also are there any scripts for transformations and also fusing two characters into one? When I create a script do I put  them in SCRIPTS.txt?

Usually modders create transformation using weapon model i.e default model is for non transformed mode and weapon model for transformed mode. Then a freespecial with weaponframe is added to transform

We don't use scripts.txt BTW. We do have script.txt in same folder as models.txt and levels.txt but we don't put scripts there
Most scripts are placed in data/scripts folder but other scripts such as animation script can be directly declared in entity text. Keyscript can be placed in character folder and spawn script can be declared in level text

I'm not sure what do you mean by fusing 2 characters into one

many possible answers,
does he want a Fused character to be controlled by 2 players? (very powerful, but it takes a lot of skill for the participants)
A fusion controlled by whoever had most health or highest score?
or a character to fuse with an NPC,
or the simplest one where after meeting a character who in reality is just a pickup item triggers the fusion (weapon model)
