I would like to translate my own games into English.

Hello, this is kt住江.
I have made several games in my career.
Miko to kyuketsuki, Double Dragon bangaihen...
However, all of these games are written in Japanese,
which may seem very difficult for English-speaking people to understand.
So, as the title says, I would like to translate my game into English and publish it, but is there a demand for it?

I would like to hear your opinions.

I'm sure a lot of your audience would appreciate it. I would suggest you try to get some assistance from a native English speaker. 1:1 translations between English and Japanese just don't work. Without further localization, the results tend to be nonsensical, stilted, or unintentionally comic.

Indeed it is.
I rely on Deepl to write English texts, but I am not sure how accurately they translate them.
It would be appropriate to ask someone who is fluent in English, but I have no such friendships.
For now, I will try to make do with Deepl for the present situation.
Thank you very much.

I moved this thread to Ask and Answer, I'm a native English speaker ( I speak Mancunian, we swear a lot naturally ) and I'll help you with some translations.
Moving the thread, got it.
What a surprise! Glad you could help me with the translation!
I'll upload my notes when I have time, and I'd really appreciate your translations!

hello. I am a person who makes games with the same concerns. If there is a lot of game production going on, I would like to try to tell the game story in English if possible.
It would be great. I really wish your games have the chance to be translated.
Because the storyline can be interesting!

Hello, this is kt住江(kt suminoe).
I am happy to have successfully published the English version of
"Double Dragon Bangaihen"...
However, there is actually another game that has not yet been translated.

"Miko to kyuketsuki".
Translated into English, it is "The Priestess and the Vampire".
However, this game is a belt action game based on the famous Japanese doujin game "Touhou project" and may be difficult to play outside of Japan, where "Touhou project" is less well known.
Furthermore, it is based on a Japanese ghost called Yokai.

Nevertheless, if there is anyone who would like to play the English version of "The Priestess and the Vampire", please leave a message at your discretion.
