Hey guys, heard of that beat 'em up encyclopedia ?

Matt McMuscles did a shoutout to it, during his last Wha Happun : Go Straight, by Bitmap Books. "The ultimate guide to side-scrolling beat'em up", or so they say. Did anyone picked it up here ? I wonder if it would be as much insightful for a OpenBOR user as "Red Barrel" is for a FPS Creator user.

I doubt it'll be insightful for an OpenBor user, beat em ups are just 1 aspect of OpenBor, beat em up enthusiasts yeah it's a nice book.

It seems to be a beautiful book ; I like the with all the Go arrows

450 pages and over 200 beat em ups are a great sum of knowledge about this genre.
I'm wondering if some obscure games quoted in the book like Jackie Chan on GBA worths the try nowadays:
