I want to choose Cody and player 2 as well, but I want you to be able to choose with the same color
colourselect 1
Mr.Q! said:He wants to be able to select same character, but not same alternate pallete, dunno if there's such a feature.
EDIT:
nosame {b1} {b2}
With nosame set, a player can't pick the characters that are currently occupied by other players like some capcom games (for example, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs). For this reason, there's no warning message that tells you don't select the same character.
~{b1} Determines whether or not Player 2 and Player 1 can use the same character at the same time.
0 (Default)= They can use the same player.
1 = They can not use the same player.
~{b2} stands for different colourmap select (currently it is not forced). The second flag is for color map index. If active it will skip same map ONLY for same players.
Examples
NOSAME 1
NOSAME 1 2
NOSAME 0 2

You might need this command:
Code:colourselect 1
declared in models.txt
This allows players to choose palette/remap in select screen
magggas said:Well, the second flag of nosame command for not allow the same color never worked actually. Meaning, i have recently tested down to the oldest engine version i could (OpenBOR v2.2068) in order to find the engine version the command broke, and the bug was still there. After i reported this, White Dragon claimed to now have fixed the nosame command in the latest OpenBOR builds but i never tested this.
So now maybe this will work on the very latest OpenBOR builds, but for sure it will not work on any older build. Not even on OpenBOR_v3.0_Build_5516. It has to be newer than that and again, maybe it is fixed. (It's not like i don't trust White dragon or something. I just can't say for sure if it's fixed without having testing first.)
