lol... funny you bring that up O_Ilusionista. I have considered off and on bringing in the Centurion as playable character. His magic would be (big shocker) transformation.
- Level 1: "Power UP!" Ripped shirt
- Level 2: "Power UP!" Roid freak
- Level 3: "Rraaaaaaahhhhh!" Beast transformation
I go back and forth about it though, because I'd either have to leave out a ton of moves compared to the others or do a massive amount of sprite work. As a second part of that, assuming I did bring him in, to decide if the transformation is always the wolf, mimics the original game where each stage has a preset beast, or use additional levels of magic for different beasts, like this:
- Level 1: Ripped shirt
- Level 2: Roid freak
- Level 3: Wolf
- Level 4: Tiger
- Level 5: Bear
- Level 6: Dragon
It's a no brainier until you remember that Sega only animated the wolf transformation. The others are just done with flashing, and more than once I've made clear my mental block about using flash frames to fake anything.
