Canceled Final Fight SNES (Demo Released!!!)

Project is halted prior to completion and will not receive further updates.
Great demo! I've been waiting for a demo for this game for a long time. I could help code some of the things that Don Vecta mentioned.

I'm doing a mod myself for the SORmaker game based on Mighty Final Fight using 16-bit/CPS1 style of graphics, I could show you some of my work later on and see if you like it, if so, I can design something for you.

I'd love to see it! :D
And anything you'd like to contribute to my mod feel free :) Just send me you new additions ^___^

I just played the demo, and I have two questions which came into mind while trying it
The first one is: Will the number of enemies on-screen be limited to three just like in the Snes. Back in the day, I found a real let-down to see this limitation in the Snes hardware, and made me very, very jealous of the Genesis users, having such great Beat-Em-Ups as Streets of Rage 2 with soooo many enemies at once on screen. As you see, I was checking this all the time and found no more than three enemies at once were displayed in the demo.
The second question: Will you take out the Rolento level as well? I think you should include it, even though it wasn´t in the Snes version and you have to use the level from the arcade or whatever.
That said, I love the idea. I have really liked the holes to throw enemies down. It felt like Double Dragon 2 on the NES. Satisfying and fun. Great controls and great use of the graphics. I will definitely play your game til the end when it´s complete.

I do have the classic limit on the enemies on screen. I can ramp up on screen enemies that's no problem. And yes Rolento will be in the final version :D And thank you for your supporting comments ^__^

Hey guys just a quick update. I have the whole subway round finished for classic mode. Also added a few new additions i.e. an El Gado that deploys mines on the ground, moving truck level, and some inner building changes :)
Have more soon! Cheers! :D

I really don't understand this idea to put many enemies to make a game hardest !!!
Maybe i don't understand fine, but if you put all of them for that it is a really bad idea :(
Many enemies on screen is crappy, we can't see anything ... it is is not fun to play .... it is really better to have some strongest enemies that are more intelligent !
Watch a real final fight, or street of rage, there is never so many enemies on the screen ...

Watch a real final fight
Buddy, in a real street fight, EVERYONE wold gang up into you. There is no "limit" on the real world :)

I like many chars on the screen, I don't see a problem with that. Its not a bad idea, people need to learn to play :)

Ermm.... actually, Final Fight arcade can have a maximum of 9 enemies in screen. ::)

Streets of Rage can also have a shitload of enemies... just scene 5 in SOR1, the ferry boat... you'll be swarmed like crazy!

The limitation of 3 sprites per screen in the SNES version of FF reduced a lot of the difficulty of the original one, though. And there was this nasty trick that if there were breakable objects on screen, if you keep one of them, only two mooks would appear on screen. That made the game a snore.

I personally like variety in a beat 'em up. Some scenes with few mooks (minimum 3, two is simply lame)can be fun and others with huge swarms that force you to play smart and use crowd control. Besides, in games like Final Fight, sometimes you need to step in carefully if you don't wanna be swarmed.
