Canceled Final Fight SNES (Demo Released!!!)

Project is halted prior to completion and will not receive further updates.

CLASSIC MODE -Complete and tested with 2 players
ARCADE MODE -3 levels complete and started on Industrial Area
CUSTOM MODE -No changes.. Yet ;)

New download coming later today!!! ^___^

Here is the current pak update. Not 100% yet, but very playable and one mode is finished!

-Haggar can use the molotov cocktails, but still working on the weapon sprites for Guy, Cody, and Maki.
-Plan on making Belger flying out the window ending and also a better cutscene to the Andore ring after the bar in Arcade Mode...
-The Level Test in gamemode is my WIP Industrial Area ;)

And just wanted to give a shout out to everyone that has contributed to this mod! Thank you so much guys!!!!

Can't play the mod because it crashed at start up which openbor version does it work for?

OpenBOR Build v3380 or later should be fine ^___^

Loading screen takes a little bit when it starts up for the first time. Because I have lots of goodies inside! ;)
 
No it crashed period on the later versions of OpenBor.

I check the log and it was unable to load a file from haggar's character folder

I played the new demo, liked the new pitches for Haggar and Maki, I have 2 questions:
1st - You intend to put secret characters?
2nd - How is the progress of your other mods Final Fight?
I'm wondering about the other mods, because I did not see any position on them.

I tested the demo.
The gameplay is pretty good!
Glad to see you started to add my custom sprites to Maki.

Sadly I cannot provide more sprites for the moment. I'm a lacking time to make edits.
But I still keep in mind to add something more to Guy and Maki.

Also the barbecue scene was pretty awesome! ;D

I can't wait to see what you're cooking for the custom mode.
 
So yeah, I also tested the mod and, as expected, it's looking good. I'm seeing the Joshiro's patch for the pull grab now works cleaner and well.

However, I kept playing normally and reached Stage 3 and encountered a gamebreaker... right before the bar, the game simply didn't budge after beating everyone. I'm uploading a video for you to see.

I hope this kind of issues can be solved soon. I'm really eager to see this baby out.

Oh yeah, the other alternate routes for your Custom Route are basically done. Let me know if you're interested in them. :)

Thanks Don :D I made some minor changes to stage 3 moving enemy spawns further away from walls. I think that was causing the problem. I repacked the mod and played through stage 3 in both modes and it worked great! :D

Yes! Please send me any material you'd like to add! I'd really like to see them!

It's the first time in a while that I played a mod that felt so... real! Every little detail from being able to special joy with both Attack+Jump and it's own button, the enemy AI, fluid movesets, weapons working as they should to the unexpected things like Haggar's new grapple moves and cody's ruffian kick. This mod screams final fight!

I will say that the characters with their new moves do feel a bit overpowered but all in all the mod is really fun and feels legit. Arcade mode crashes at the industrial stage and I did get stuck once on classic bay area after fighting the knife goons (worked the second time around though). Keep up the good work!
 
I'm happy to see more progress on this. I just downloaded it. I will test and give feedback. I'm also still willing to help with this project when I'm free.
 
Hey guys. I'm happy to announce I am completely revamping this mod in the aspect of the proper color pallets and also fixing certain moves and cutting down on frames. I'm working almost non-stop :) No levels need to be changed just the player and enemy sprites, obstacles, food ect. Also implementing the multi-spawn animations with follow1, follow2, ect.

Also updating scripts and other goodies :DDDDD

I'll have a video update a little later! ^____^
Any questions or contributions you'd like to make to the mod let me know!!!! =D

I hope you will keep the oldschool aspect and consistence between all entities just like the real game.
