The Super Nintendo and the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) remain, to this very day, two of my favorite consoles. I still play them almost every day
I certainly hope my nephew takes after his father (my brother) so I can show him the good ol' classics that me and my brothers grew up with.

Maybe its hard for USA residents to understand my votes for Master System, but it was a HUGE success here in Brazil.
I had a complete one, with Light Phaser and the 3D Glasses.

And it was hard to me to pick one between PS2 and Master System.

I never owned a Master System. So I really know nothing about it. It is one of the few old-school consoles that I did not grew up with. My first Sega system was the Mega Drive (Genesis)

It was an wonderful 8bit console and to me, excluding the controllers, it was way better than NES. The very few games which had versions for both system, back on that day, have better versions at MS in almost 90% of the cases. For example, the California game for the Master System was better even agains the Mega Drive version - which lacks one sport.

I have to agree with nsw25, I also like PS2 because they had the best games like the Onimusha series, Sengoku Basara 1 and 2, Tekken Tag Tournament, and the Dynasty Warriors series which were the greatest hits of all time.

But my personal favorites would be the both PSX and PS3 since I am playstation fanatic after all.

Some consoles I never tryed like Jaguar and Wii so I choosed by my playing time.
