Hello, while my avengers game are temporary on hold due the fact the spriters are busy with oter works i decided to start a fantastic four game.
I was working on it in secret for some good time, and i decided to show some teaser video today :)

It will use as base gameplay core the marvel demo from my favorite creator bwwd

The game uses 960x540 resolution and uses sprites in normal size (it fits very well on big TV´s )

First beta coming soon :P

The game will be a 4 players game with the four main fantastic four members
and plus some others 4 secret characters at least

I have writed 2 adventure plots for this game.
 
seems that will take much time to upload...  it is on 4%... my upload rate is very low
in a few hours the upload will be finished ehehe i hope :P
 
Ah, that explains the change of your avatar rafhot :).

I'm going to watch video after it is uploaded :).

So what's the story of this mod? another clash with Skrulls, Galactus or new villain?
 
i have set 2 different adventures for this game:

One adventure covering some of most famous adventures from fantastic four until the arrive of galactus to eat the earth.
The other adventure is about the frightful four and the yancy street gang kindnaping one of the Richard and Sue son.

but are you sure about the giant "4" death screen? it can become annoying in the long way....

For spiderman i need to create: (dont know how yet)
The maximum spider hyper move

and that mvc3 hyper that spiderman jumps and spin with the enemy binded in the web

all characters in this game will have, grabup, grab down, grab forward and throw plus various freespecials to give the player many ways to defeat the enemies in various creative ways

im not sure about the big 4 subliminal message yet ehehe i think i will remove it
 
looks pretty good!!

But it's strange to see the big 4 when using spiderman... perhaps it's possible to put an "arachnid" icon when Spiderman finish the enemy, and keep the big 4 when you are using one of the FF?? (but it would require script I think).

this spiderman is one of the temporary fantastic four members, that i will use in this game as secret characters

spider man and she hulk i think was the most famous temporary fantastic four members, but are many others that i want to show later :P

Nice. The only really tough one would be the Maximum Spider, though with a bit of work it's quite doable. From a scripting perspective the others are no different than any other Attack + Throw. Only problem is your example animations. Spidey WISHES he was good enough to pwn Hiryu like that!  ;)

Indeed, Hiryu is a great character, when i finish all marvel games that i have in mind i will for sure create one strider themed game too, he is cool and i have some separated colors sprites of him that allow me to create an army of striders looks as palettes :)
 
Would be nice to see some gameplay with the actual core four members instead of Spidey

Now that ricco said that, that got me thinking of Mr. Fantastic/Reed Richards and Human Torch/Johnny Storm as they were released from Mugen.
 
sure, my initial video was a bigger one showing only the 4 main characters, but i got problems to upload it since my upload rate is very very low, so i had to create a new small video and this time i picked spiderman
i will try to separate the bigger video into small ones and then upload showing the 4 main characters in action

human torch have fire binded to him and invisible woman gets invisibility aganist enemies
and mr fantastic, well he stretch... :p
 
spiderman have used the fantastic four uniform sometimes and there are times that he used just a four simbol covering the spider simbol, but the most recent one was when human torch died and he took his place in the team.
also she hulk have joined the team when the thing lose his powers.
those 2 are the most famous ones temporary members

Ah so that's the idea! I thought you are going to pick random super hero as secret chars but instead you pick other members.

Too bad the video only shows Spiderman, I was expecting to see The Thing.

BTW is this level in video just temporary or part of story? I see Namor and mermans. I believe it would cooler if some mermans chases civilians too before the latter vanishes to the left.
