It's uploaded here on lavalit, I have access to Internet from a computer once a week, at that moment I can upload it myself if there's no more download links.

Yesterday I made some little updates, now the three players have different flying kick sprites and different run attacks sprites. I don't know what other changes to do.

@BloodBane, can you take a look on the gameplay issue please?? The infinite you can create when attacking with punchs and kicks...  :-X
 
Here on chrono crash there is only the topic about the MOD but no download link available, so I think the MOD is not hosted here, I have been searching for it already.

Ya estuve buscando el MOD DIF y no esta almacenado en chrono crash, ya lo busque y no hay enlace de descarga, ojala pudieras proveer un nuevo enlace o bien suibirlo a la pagina, te agradeceria infinitamente poder jugar esta obra maestra
 
Im gonna try it out, I have downloaded it already, My apologies DIF after all the MOD has been always here in chrono crash, you were right, soon as I can I will play it on my wii and I will let you know how it works and my personal opinion. Thank you very much

Besides the little updates you made, what else do you plan to add or include for this game?

It would be great to have a bonus level in space wich is like a Nes version of Battletoads & Double Dragon.

Omega, add more levels, add the nes levels and enemies, new playable chars, etc...

Sorry, is not going to happen... I prefer to keep this strictly Technos related so no battletoads reference. But maybe I will use the shadow boss from there.
Also an space stage would be like dd neon and I don't like that game that turned the best martial artists in the world in two surfers  :P

What I will eventually do someday, its a battletoads/dd mod with the nes sprites though  :)
 
Let me tell you DIF that I have tested ypur MOD on wii and I played the first three stages without problems, I´m not using the engine you include in the download but I´m using one of the latest version of OpenBOR, I really liked the cutscenes when the boss appears, also I loved Jeff´s martial style.
 
Cool!! Didn't know it works on wii. I just tested on a pc.

Can someone test it on android and psp? Would love to know if the game run on those platforms.

That is no problem man. Good to know that you might make a BattleToads & Double Dragon mod with Nes sprites later.
 
Definitively it works on wii with an exception, if you die in the truck stage, sometimes when you spawn and respawn, the player is invisible and if you move in any direction the player falls endless times until you run out the lives.

I know why that happens, there's a workaround that hope works :) didn't try it yet.
Holdperson, try with the latest version of openbor maybe build 4055 is the current one?).
 
Ok I´m still waiting for news and also of course for the release of this, I really like how you mix the enemies from three NES double dragon games
 
Ok, I tested it with the lastest version. It works fine on the PSP ;)
I love the way you´ve done this game. The retro look, the fact that it has a kick button (I really miss it in most DD mods) and I really enjoy throwing enemies down holes. It´s something I think should be done more often as it makes the game A LOT funnier.
Please, keep it up, can´t wait for the final version

Yeah I added lot of enemies on "pit zones" because I also love to throw enemies there!! It's so fun when I fail miserably!
Thanks for testing it on psp, I hope someone can try it on Ouya and android.

Same here. I finished the demo and felt very, very hyped with what you´ve done. I missed the "sucking effect" in the level inside the airplane, but it looked really good. Loved also the level over the plane and the one in the dock. This game such has potential!!
Also I noticed you can´t program ladders. But, thing is, couldn´t you recreate the effect in the NES version of Double Dragon 2 by making the player go up elevators? It could give the choice to throw enemies down buildings just like in the original, and man, I loved to do that back then XD
I only say it as a die-hard Double Dragon as I am in the very, very beginning of understanding the Openbor Engine. I wish I could help you somehow.
But yeah, I think there´s lots of people interested in yout game. And I think too, that the idea is totally awesome.

Well yeah you are right, I don't know how to code ladders or elevators...

My schedule is like this:
Double dragon 1:
- arcade mode (the one in the demo)
- nes mode (with some 2d stages and nes exclusive enemies like Chin) the idea is to make it similar to the nes version.
- special mode: my interpretation of the double dragon 1 saga, using enemies from the above modes.

Same later with dd2, this means that you will not fight the black warriors on the "nes mode" and "special mode", you will fight against the Gen-satsu-ken, the rivals on the Japanese version of dd2.

The "omake" in the demo is my version of dd3, which will also have the nes stages in some way or another... So the enemies are the Neo Black Warriors, whose leader is Jim the older brother of Willy (this is written on the Japanese manual).

Also please note that the text on the intro and "how to play" are extracted from the Japanese manuals of return of dd and dd advance.
