Okay so finally I have completed my mod and you can get it at the link below.
Also just don't expect too much as this is a pretty simple straight forward mod and
I made pretty short as I hate having way too many enemies spawned each time you scroll down, like take a few steps group after groups of enemies appear.
Of course I can do it as well but... it would take longer to beat and boredom starts to sink in.

Some information:

4 Playable chars 1 secret char
2 Endings
3 Buttons, punch, jump, special
1 freespecial, F,F punch
While jumping press either up or down punch

Well. That was fun. I did enjoy playing from start to finish in both modes. You did something very simple and easy to play. I like when the motorcycle explodes right after the biker gets hit. That looks creative in that sense for that motorcycle. Even though the mod is almost like a BOR mod, it stands out and pretty forward as you say. I do remember your projects were dead long ago, so you have your reason to release it. The only thing I remember you released the last time was an updated version of Vampire Rage (original from Tails; was it you who updated?). I think this is your first original mod release. Congrats, sir.

:) I'm just glad that you have enjoyed it which also brings joy to me as a mod creator. My thoughts when making it were if my mod can't make an impression on you then maybe something that stands out in either comfortable controls, music, unique bosses, beautiful stage or sound fx etc...
Anyway the one that did the updated version of Vampire Rage was me, the me back then was HideRaisen the me now is M-IMPACT. ;)
 
Good mod, I've just finished it with the main star Lee and I've enjoyed. I'd say that if this mod would have had more enemies & some special move, it would be a bomb!

Now, I'm going to play it again to do the bad way and take the treasure. Thanks so much M-Impact!

But I can't recognize all music you used.

As for having stuff added to the mod I 'm pretty much spent as I am getting older and don't have the energy for bigger projects.

I can list a few if I can remember them since some were ripped by me a long time ago & some downloaded tracks with no name just track number.

Here is a list of where the song came from, the rest I don't remember.

If remember correctly this is my first mod that I completed and release to public forum for all to enjoy. Vampire Rage was using Darkbor so I updated it to work with openbor, made 4 players edit some things here and there, replace psone Sol with GGX Sol and change the music etc, so I can't take full credit, it's NOT my game it was made by Tail's thank him for making lol. That one was my first time attempting to mod, after that I can start from scratch as I gain some knowledge. With all of my older mod gone I had to find some motivation again only until after a long while I came back here again. :)
 
Okay I've already re-uploaded the game with a small fix, when using sword to hit arrows from archer's now do not bleed blood anymore.

good job. this game always needed a true release using a decent engine. the original arcade was horrible moves.

and by the way, why you only added 1 secret char pal? you could added much more. specially that bad woman or cleopatra hehe.

why i say this? cause i love play as enemies and rare chars. and because on double dragon 1 and 2 is possible play as the enemies.

on the bottom videos, you will see some videos controlling enemies on double dragon 1 and 2, or changing the ending on prehistoric isle in 1930.

for do this, is needed an old mame32 before the 126 version and the newer mameui32 versions, where the cheats.dat file (easily edited with notepad) was changed for a much more rare "cheats.zip" file, with a bunch of "xml" separated files for each game title.

once you will have my cheats from my blog, you only will need to copy/paste the cheats inside the cheat.dat file, editing it with the note pad, and saving the changes.

the better emulator for do this, is an especial hacked version of an old mame. that comes in here, the dark ryus blog page:

make click over the flaming dragon, and download the hacked mame:
"MAME32m 0.84.167 HACK HD". this one have a decent kaillera for play online (for avoid cannot play fine online like on a newer mameui32 version).
(notice this emulator is updated from time to time. so revisit that page).

a very harder hack to find it tooks me more that 1 year to get just the ips patch. for do later the patching and search the correct emulator for handle it.

Yeah I could have add more but I'm kinda picky on my choices, as they have to be the right proportion in size and in style. I will leave that to other people who are also a fan of Double Dragon to add more characters of their choice to my game. :)

And about the mame stuff that is pretty neat. I never really use any hacks before I just play the games lol, but I will look them over, muchas gracias amigo! (thank you very much my friend!) By the way I'm not Spanish or Mexican. :D
