O Ilusionista said:I would say no. This would mean more work for the very few devs we have here. Plus, that version is not official and we offer no support for it.so if this 3rd party release of vita port is stable should it become a official port ?
We are more droping ports rather than making new ones. Honestly speaking, if I was in charge on this, I would just let windows, android and linux only ports.
To tell the truth, the only port which widths the trouble is the android one.
Vita is one of thr case of non official port that people het an old official but not released build, fix some things and release it, not giving the the right credits.
Plombo what is this bug?
Im glad that you are not in charge here (or in mugen comunites also) and just a mere "moderator"; only the coders of the builds has the rights to answer that question and since openbor is a mess and open source engine everyone can put their knowledge to improve and make ports to several machines.
I dont think if you know the significance of porting, isn´t only the ability to play the paks on different enviroments and saturing their Ram memmories; is adapt certain core parts for the specified hardware to function in the relative same way on diferent platforms and keep a common functioning code for all the engines.
You said the same for the dreamcast port...... "we not offer suport"......we? i dont remember you apporting nothing to the source code.
If "i was in charge" , i separate the video, audio and controller code and keep a common engine source just like snes9x and be thankfull that everyone else is aware of the use of the engine above every others out there.
