Complete Dragon Ball Z - Attack of the Saiyans

Tried cutting down the .pak with the orphan finder and converted the few .bor music files to .ogg, so there's 102 megabytes of unused boasting and screaming gone. Also included my complete save for testing because I don't want to replay it again...

Zoro and Sanji showcase - i feel like these two came out a bit janky, at least in their main combo string.

Just here to vent my frustration

I'll admit there's a lot of crap to sift through for the engine but that's the case for just about anything, really - it's called Sturgeon's Law. Additionally, a few of those games are "BOR clones" even if i find them solid for "BOR clone" standards (Rhythm of Destruction 2, Dragons of Rage) and...

Character select graphics (Zoro is an incomplete wip)

Second test build i whipped up real quick: https://mega.nz/file/azBXFRQB#E0_fdPw3Jm6TPtj4EjEpePyFCN5x-m1lvwUHdhtLWFk NOT a demo as there's nothing besides a few test levels and 10 playable characters - more than enough to get feedback on but not enough to be considered a playable game yet.

I have an outdated test build i made for feedback no one's downloaded afaik, but I want to at least get a few more characters done (might do work on the other One Piece reps because they're the first couple characters you fight in v3.6 of the original flash game) and actual levels made before I...

Ace complete (his falling animation was easier to do than I thought) + a very empty-looking stage select. I got the general layout done for the stage select, but there's no entity graphics - I spent quite a bit of time trying to redo the layout from v3.6 of Comic Stars Fighting's stage select...

Turns out I was wrong about Kazuki's sprites limiting his moveset (sort of, i feel like he's as underwhelming as Ichigo turned out), I just saw eight directions he could go in and thought "I can't use this". Also, I replaced the super and burst effects.

I saw an engine on a website that is very similar to Openbor.

I did see openbor being in a version of emulatorjs (the ".com" version, not the ".org" version). Perhaps that's what you're talking about?

    Where's this effect from?

where is this "cool fireball effect" (as i named the file) from? my best guess is Eternal Fighter Zero as the effects in that game are similar, but i couldn't find an exact match since TSR has (i think) everyone ripped, but no universal effects. took the sprite from MUGEN but i want a "clean"...

    .OGG Song names like wav2bor

If you got Audacity or Winamp you can easily edit the metadata too, in my project i stripped the metadata to just the title and artist.

Made a mockup of what i'd want the CSS to look like - greyed out portraits will be baked onto the player select background, while the colorized portraits and the images of them in the corners and name text will be done with the "select" animations.

I'm currently using the pirate enemies from One Piece GBA and i'll get to making the marines from the same game sometime soon

Dragon Ball Advanced Adventure kinda has usable sprites but there's nothing from the Bleach games I can use, the DS games' proportions aren't the "pocket" style of JUS.
