Any particular reason you didn't go for the arcade game sprites? For me with Fight Forever, I wanted SNES instead arcade due to accessing more assets graphic wise.

I gave it a try, but the arcade version's graphic detail was too high for me to replicate, while the SNES (SFC) version was easier to approach.

If I had tried to redraw the characters with the quality of the arcade version, I probably wouldn't have been able to.

It might have been a bit different if I had studied art.
 
Sailor Mars's walking cycle looks a lot better in her motion. It's so beautiful (chef's kiss).

The boss's walking motion looks good. Her left hand looks relaxed while her index finger is looking straight like it's already up. At first, I was thinking about having her finger move down a bit to look relaxed (maybe in a bit diagonal side like 35-40 degrees of its angle), but I don't know how challenging it would be for you to handle it. Otherwise, it's okay.

Thank you. Unless the walking motion is something special, I think I will keep it at 6 frames.

Since I lack artistic sense, I am creating the boss's movements by referencing various sources.
