Taxan G.I. Joe Remake

I've started working on a remake of the Taxan G.I. Joe game. I am using Godot to code, which I am learning as I go. Its slow, because I have no background in coding. Currently, I am working on a base sprite that will have all of the basic moves for any of the playable characters. While my idea is ambitious, for now I am focused on the basics. If anyone out there is interested in helping, I admit I need it. I can draw, I can plan, I can write, and I can learn.

Welcome to the community @strongoak88.

While your idea is interesting and I do not want to discourage you from asking - it is imperative you understand lesson 0 about game making: The chances of anyone jumping in to help code for another person's ideas are somewhere between 0 and the market price of navel lint. EVERYONE has an idea, and I can sprite and design but not code posts are a monthly occurrence. The best you are going to get is some token "Gee wish I could help" kind of stuff, and maybe a half heart offer that ends up doing nothing.

...and all that is before the fact your target platform is a game engine our community has no vested interest in.

If you want to see a game through, you're on your own.

That all said, we welcome any and all projects, and are happy to help if you have any specific questions, so please feel free to fire away. :)
