Problem with controls

Hello guys, I hope this is the right site where asking for a solution.

Lately, with the last openbor games, I enter to configure controls of the game and I accept the changes, but when I back the main menu, gamepad is disable without I touch nothing, thereforce I only play with keyboard or xpadder (maping keys for the gamepad).

This problem didn't happen in previous version of openbor such as OpenBOR v3.0 Build 3854. OpenBOR v3.0 Build 3741...

Is there any solution for this?

im using build 4165 and have some joytstick issues for some time


the first thing you need to do is delete the config file that was made by an older openbor version.

doing this you can setup at least p1 and p2 joysticks

but im still having problems like you told for player 3 and player 4

 
Hello rafhot, sorry for my clumsiness, but I didn't find any "config file" in any folder. I was searching in openbor 4153, Mortal Kombat Chosen, Fighters History Revenge, but I found nothing.
 
they are in the saves folder,  all .cfg files are the config files for each game and they config screen resolutions controllers filters and such so delete those and let your current openbor.exe create those files again

nowadays i use just one game in the pak folder for each game to avoid this joystick conflict
instead of many games in the pak folder and just one openbor.exe
 
Hi again. I try it, but I still have the same problem, I deleted bor.cfg, I open openbor.exe again, I sep up the controls, but when I accept the configuration, gamepad doesn't work (only one button works).

I also use just one game in the pak folder for each game.

I think, something went wrong in the latest openbor version.
