Hey guys, it's been a while. I just wish to show this finished project that I've been working on for the past couple of months.
It's no secret that I absolutely love the Marine movies (see topic here: http://www.chronocrash.com/forum/index.php?topic=4078.0) There are rumors that part 6 is the final movie in the franshise. I have a feeling that WWE won't make a collection bundle with all 6 Marine movies included. Just because the movies are not popular enough and are regarded as trash. So, I took matters into my own hands and went and made a custom box set containing all 6 movies. Check below for the photos.
This is the Blu-ray edition of my custom box set.
Due to some strange marketing choices, most of the Blu-ray versions never got released here in the Netherlands. Only the first and fifth movies have gotten a Blu-ray release here. So, in order to complete the collection, I had to import the Blu-ray versions of the second, third, fourth and sixth movies.
I also made a DVD version.
So far, I've gotten many compliments for these custom box sets. Many people think they look legit ;D But they're NOT for sale
And here is the whole collection. All DVD versions and Blu-ray versions of the movies. I also put my two custom box sets on the left and right sides.
I always said to myself: "When the Marine movies come to an end, then I will make my own custom box sets because I don't think WWE will release a box set". And so I went and actually did it. I made the covers for my custom box sets with the Paint software. It took a long time to make it look as legit as I possibly could. But I am glad how it turned out.
Whenever I show this collection to people, they always tell me that they'll probably never come across someone else that has so much love and care for these movies...and I think they are right
