I think 3.0 is the latest build for it I could be wrong.  The probelem is that dreamcast has very little memory to work with so you will be very limited on the type of game you want to make.  If you search I dont remember if it was on lavalit or on here there is a thread that will tell you the ammount of ram you need for each system
 
I’m very interested to know if it’s possible, to port/convert the following OpenBOR titles to the (possibly modded) Sega Dreamcast?:

1. Martial Masters - New Legend  (2p) - (Lord Skiff & BloodBane) - 2013

2.  G.I. JOE - Attack on Cobra Island  - (Count Monte) - 2014

3. Marvel Super Heroes - War of the Gems (2013-Guima Brothers)

Is such a thing possible, perhaps on a 32mb modded Dreamcast ?

there is a 32mb memory mod which has gotten some Atomiswave & Naomi games working well on modded Dreamcasts

There are also some clever dudes who are getting the Atomiswave games working with just the stock 16, without the 32mb mod.
 
For war of the gems it used too much ram on version 1.3 to dreamcast handle it, for that version (1.3)i think 117 or around128 mb ram would be necessary.

 
I enjoy trying to port games to consoles with memory restrictions rafhot do you mind if I make a light version to your war of the gems mod ?
 
sure, in the 1.3 due some changes in my life i left many unpolished and unused  stuff on that version also i use .pcx format in many sprites

my current unreleased version of the game is more memory hungy but i have cleaned those things i left in previous version but will not run on low ram devices, so if you can try to optimize the current 1.3 will be cool since there is a lot of stuff eating memory there and i think is possible to reach 64 mb ram usage on that project or even more if cut some playable characters

Iam making some openbor games for Dreramcast ( it works for all others consoles and pc ), the  latest engine version for Dreamcast is 3.0 build 4111, but the openbor engine for Dreamcas has been updated
by a developer called Ian Micheal, and now the Dreamcast can handle some openbor games that was umplayble before.
This new engine  version is called Dreambor and now is running with Dreamcast media center, so you can play a iso or cd with more than one open bor game and change to another  Bor game  just by back to main menu of DCMC and also you can create an image gallery, game covers, put some mp3 music and videos about your game or any thing else.
The Dreamcast has  some limitations becouse of 16mb RAM (only) but Dreambor use less ram than 3.0 build 4111 Openbor .
