    agree with danno here... for animations is best to use entities and spawn them where they need to be... fglayers are great for putting together levels and getting the most colors possible and really its like a clean canvas that you can adorn with layers of which each layer can have its own...

    those are nice, but ive settle for the ones i made... they need to be small and thats about the smallest am willing to go... but i appreciate the gesture :) tho i do like the slanted look....

    so much can be achieved with the fglayers... amazing. while is time consuming, its well work it... tho not every single part of the old stages will be redone, like the pics below, while not the whole house was redone, redoing parts of it can do wonders.. the rest scanlines will cover them up...

    thanks and hell yeah ... i barely loose anything... only one a lost a bit but still not that much, was level 7-1with the graffiti but still looks great xD using the fglayer like crazy now... some of the levels are in the teens lol

    level 5 complete redo.. theres 5 layers to it including the front and the water...water still the same since its animated didnt see a reason to change it... old vs new.. to be able to use more gradients is awesome xD

    thanks... foreground is set as fglayer now...also do they look ok tho besides the layer in question? thanks for the feedback. also now it moves as well, tho at the lowest speed but now they all moves.

    cant get the trees speed correctly yet i think... also not sure if i should scroll the background bushes and that bridge is part of that... dont mind the trains i forgot to remove for testing lol

    not happy with the remake of this stages floor... so i redid the floor yet again... this stage alone has like 12 layers not counting the 2 trains, fglayer FTW xD also man i wish we didnt had a single palette back then.. amazing work from DC and Co.

    3 players implementation along with gradient bars ... all bars xD althugh different for each player, they will be changed to use the same color in the end ... now i break lol

    coding is not my forte, so if its overkill i apologize but it works with gradient colors for all players life bars individually so each player can have its own color if you choose to, and 1 shared gradient for enemies and mp bar. player 4 is untested but it should work , i am using 3 players...
