its been a about a couple of days....
i had posted about Hulk Hogan and there was no way i would stay silent about Charlie -
first time i saw the man was from a younger member of the family, who showed me one of his campus debates.
first thoughts about him was of a manufactured troll personality, and even before the times of 2019, the probability of those debates being genuine seemed to be on the low percentage rates , never beyond 30% -
at times , after 2019 and the radicalization of certain people - i would think to myself
"if those debates on campuses are real, if that man is actually interacting with them, it takes some guts - any one of those people in those crowds is a threat - respect"
over the years i would hear and see the man debate, hear him speak, disagree with some of his takes and agree with others, and even now i am conflicted on the value of trying to hold a dialogue with people that seem unreachable....
Alas - the ideals of this man where honorable, even in the middle ages , amidst wars and cruzades, there where times where men who where mortal enemies would meet and parlay - and violence during such would be a violation of a sacred oath, a war crime.
to see some out there cheering , celebrating, asking for more is concerning, but it is also an opportunity, it reveals the misguided, the midwits & the wolves disguised as sheep, it reminds us of our duty of vigilance, the price we must continually pay.
the best way to carry on the legacy of people like Charlie, is to strive to open dialogue, to not blackpill and consider others too far gone.
Had the man survived, i believe he would not stop doing the debates.
