Old games that still worth to play

I have a fondness for similar games, especially those where each room has its own name & theme.

    64th Street: A Detective Story

I recall a few things from this game aside from the back wall throws: - a weird, echoed high pitched scream whenever you performed one (or a special move). - enemy chars had only 2 sprites for their walking animation - even for the 90s it was really lazy work. - all boss fights had the same...

    New Marvel Beat em UP

I don't mind this new "Retro Beat'em Up" fever, but I'm afraid they're not improving, just redoing the genre. As in, they're making these games like they still have the limitations from that era. Case in point, hundreds of similar enemies - if they just made at least, 2 or 3 versions of the same...

    Tenebris Somnia

Nice! Old School Horror has a place in my heart no matter how good modern games are. If you like short - movies - for - trailers I'm sure you already know Whispering Willows:

    Street Fighter 6

Mai gameplay - even though the guys at CapCom have used her actual moves (like with Terry), her footwork is rendered surprisingly even better. "Dis-co-Ibi-za-Lo-co-mí-a" 😜

    In Progress FINAL DOUBLE DRAGON

Aka "The Indiana Jones(es) game" from where I come, for obvious reasons. 😐

    Street Fighter 6

Considering this is a ninja for CapCom these days...It makes sense :ROFLMAO:

    Street Fighter 6

Mai Shiranui revealed. CapCom kinda went mild with her render - and I prefer it that way, tbh. Much like with Terry, they paid homage to her og stage and music. Not so much to her suit, which is some kind of mishmash of all those she's worn so far - but hey, I'll always prefer the open toes &...

    Double Dragon Revive

I get Marian as the "Damsel In Distress" (or simply dead) may not work anymore, but if you're gonna feature a lightning wielding ninja...at least give us Amon (nice Burnov redesign, btw).

    Street Fighter 6

"It seems we share the same smell..." When in CvS I saw Ken handing Terry his hat, it was obvious these two were tag team material. Nice nostalgia trip - the two guys from SFII, Terry getting out of the cab and looking at a sign, the Pao Pao Cafe...

    Street Fighter 6

Terry Bogard feature trailer. And hey, we even have John Higashi and DEI BLue Mary :ROFLMAO:

    Double Dragon Revive

Call me too old fashioned, but DD for me is attached to the original style. DD Advance is the most I can accept, since the graphics upgrade kinda kept it. I'm not saying the other games fashioned around the title aren't good, but don't "feel" like DD to me.

    Street Fighter 6

In Terry's case, he was created in '91, so I can give his design a pass - those white sneakers and jacket rival Marty Mc Fly's looks XD. Luke is a good balance between "Type" and "Characterization" - he's clearly a MMA type with some personality added (but I am creeped out by his Popeye forearms...

    Street Fighter 6

When she became too fanservicey is when she lost appeal, at least to me. In her FF2 debut, she was more of the "proud warrior" type, with the (in)famous bouncing and butt shot shown like accidents. But even if SNK continued to bimbofy her because, well, sexy sells, she never lost her more...

    Night Slashers: Remake

I hope this "revamping old - ahem - *classic* games in this fashion won't become a trend. Suddenly a chill went down my spine...
