Unity mess.... openbor win?

I think Godot is the next big one.
Unity can eat ****!
I still think that obor is the ultimate 2d engine and I wish more creators would use it. The free stuff like Mr Q's mods walks and ***** all over the modern beat em up revival.

the loss of trust is the worst part about this mess, a few months back same thing happened to Dungeons and dragons
some have said that the best thing you can do is just build your own engine from scratch, because making games on stablished engines owned by someone else is akin to building on sand...
as far as openbor is concerned ,my gut tells me as long as DC and the current team are the leaders, i have no worries.
Mugen or Ikemen ? who knows what the situation is.

Maybe we can have some advantage due to this situation, people are now looking for alternatives and some like Godot are receiving an incentive.
I'm still waiting on my PC, that's what happens when you make a custom laptop build. Come what may, we will be making a beta release (and then doing incremental faster releases after) at the deadline I set. The only thing is I might have to cut some things, like the four way run I was working on, and add them in the increments.
