I've been a lurker in this forum for years but now I finally had the courage to post and share about the project I've been working all this time.
I might change the name in the future but it will likely be something like this.
This a Beat'n'up game featuring original characters and story made all by myself.

The game features characters with special moves in a gameplay similar to Denjin Makai and some will be unlocked as you proceed in the game.

Some stages will play differently to represent some aspects of the story.

the project is being fleshed out so It's still early to post a demo, but I'll post a gameplay video once I iron out some of the gameplay aspects.
so that's it for now, I will post more once I add new stuff to the game, so I hope you guys like it. :giggle:
 
Thanks @DCurrent , this is the first time we talk but I've been reading through these forums for a long time so it's a nice to talk directly like that, this forum gave me alot of help for this project so I'm very thankful for you guys maintaning this awesome engine for so many years.✌️
 
thanks @danno, the main character, Fred, is the most complete character so far, I've made most of his animations and coded nearly all of his stuff, I might make a gameplay video soon. 😄
 
Oooh, some furry based game. Nice to see some fresh project here!
I like the graphics style.

IMO only the "Mechan Dog" need some work. It still looks like "drawing" with thick outlines. I suppose it's WIP too :)

Yeah, Mechan Dog boss is still a WIP :LOL: ,those are early sprite drafts that I made by hand with some editing and colorization.

If all you want is a quick recording the Windows Game utility is simple and does the job. Press Win+G, click Record and you're in business. If you don't have Windows, you're on an old version or you want something more advanced then look into OBS Studio. The free version has everything you need. It's a lot more complicated to use but you can fine tune the output and mix multiple sources.

Thanks again @DCurrent , I'll take a look at OBS studio, that one looks interesting, I don't mind a software being more complex as long as I can learn it and it offers nice features :giggle:
 
Thanks @Kotix , by the way, I've been to punchpedia many times, I love searching for obscure games and your site had alot of information from many of them, really awesome work on that site, thanks for making it ✌️ , some of these games you find almost nothing online.
