Art Some pixels I want to show you

The thread is some time of visual artwork like sketch, painting, or sprite work.
could be a cool npc character , just an idea  ;D
about Trump, the palettes variations are highly interesting both because he's kinda joker but also made commercials for McDonald's lol, nice catch on that

O Ilusionista: No problem my friend, I would love also to change the Street of Rage 3 route to meet Mr President at the White House :)

Hi, long time no see dear Chrono Crash members, let me introduce you Tracker, the Game Gear boss of Street of Rage 2 (stage 3):

See the original boss at 16:13 (sprites can be good animated icons I think :) ):
So I follow the track of Predator and I've found that Alien vs Predator (US version) fit perfectly with the SOR style.
After some frankenspriting, recoloration and color separation, I've managed to make an extented spritesheet like this one (there was so few frame made):
https://www.spriters-resource.com/snes/alienvspredator/sheet/40130/

The last line is for making his defensive special, invisibility suit:
Danny Glover, stay calm and run fast :)

The sprites ripped appear like the last lines of the spritesheet but ingame this is different (see at 2:15):
So, I've got 2 questions:
- How do you think this invisibility suit is being made graphically?
- Is it possible to turn this suit on and off if Tracker is being hit?
I hope you like him :)

I worked on Scott, a fictive friend of Jack in Sor2X:

His favorite sentence: "No future! Let's Rock!
Too bad, he died too fast here :)

Nice to see some original characters being made and added. Scott’s interesting due to having a combo.

Miru: Thanks for your kind comment; it's not an original character, it's an unnamed boss from Ninja Gaiden Prototype on Genesis that I recolored, added some frames, redone the face.
I wish to make him an equivalent of Jack in term of strength, if you have some suggestions to new moves, I'll take them into consideration.

Perhaps have him able to toss his guitar like a boomerang?

How about a Guitar Riff (with some range restriction) that knocks down not only players, but enemies too? And a Guitar smash on the floor that creates a projectile shockwave? And for a taunt, the classic Sign of the Horns?

Miru and  afhc2x17: I updated the spritesheet 5 posts above, thanks for your great advices! ;)
What's new?
- Added new idle riffs
- New run anim
- New defensive special: Guitar Swing
- Added a block anim
- Some sprites revised
Here's is a playable video preview:

Yes, you can fix this a bit if you will change his skintone color to the same one that other characters in game have .

compare it by taking screengrab of the game with enemies and paste one frame from this spritesheet.
I think its still not enough, enemies muscles are more shiny and brighter.

Maybe his attire could use more contrast? I agree that all of the shades of his skin could be like those of other characters in the game, not just the brightest one.

Very nice work indeed. I just realized you have spoke to me before on the SoRR Community forums, on my Moonwalker/SoR2 comparison post. I also recognize the first image you posted, because Mr.Din is a friend of mine, and I am on his Brawler's Avenue page on Discord, and he posted that image there. Had no idea it was you, the guy that showed me the moonwalker mod, that did it.

As for your sprite, I have to say, I am quite pleased to see you do so well making full sprite sheets of original characters, especially in your own style. I have made two sprites sheets of existing characters in my own style, and a few original ones in SoR style, though I am not sure I want to show those characters as they are mostly just a set of characters I did privately for a friend, but if he wants to release it to the public, I can just come on and present the sheet here.

CosmoBuggi: Thanks for your reply. So you are Cosmo from SORR Community, nice to meet you here :). I've got some other concept to extend and release like a Street of Nightmare scenario for Halloween that I keep secret until the final date  ;).
I like the idea to make some relatives of main characters, here's Josh a friend of Skate (maybye Axel's young brother also?) who fights with his board:

And you, all members of Chrono Crash, how do you imagine boy/girl friends of Max, Blaze, Axel, Adam?  :D

Axel/Blaze shipper here. I'd imagine Adam's girlfriend to be a Native American with her fighting style based around capoeira, while Max's is of Arabic descent and she uses a mix of krav maga and judo, largely on judo. Great minds think alike, ya know.

kimono You are very welcome. ;)

It's funny you mention that, because I have a couple ideas for relatives here.

One I have is a son for Blaze, but in her later years. Her son is about 18 or so at this point, and his name is Sean Swift, though his in-game name would be labeled as Swift (felt like a nice continuation on the meaning of 'Blaze') I'll post an image of him in a link here because the image is quite big. https://i.postimg.cc/NskRPmLc/Sw-ift-Full-Body.png

Another is Skate's son when he gets older, named Eddie (in my version of the canon, Samuel Edward Hunter is Skate, while his son, or "New Skate" (or just Skate as his in-game life bar would call him).
skateson.png

I cropped out a piece of a full cast image, (only wanted to show skate as I didn't feel like explaining the others) to show this version of Skate.
