Complete Ranma 1/2 - Final Season

Project is completed.

O Ilusionista

Captain 80K
All supers from the Mugen game "Ranma 1/2", based on an old anime of the same name

According to the compilation author Pilgrim:
"Select screen redone, added Tarou and Herb to the Roster, change guard anim in p-chan and Xian pu cat, fixed little bugs. Add Ending/Credits scene, add Intros to 12 principals chars (Ranma, Akane, Ryouga, Genma, Xian Pu, Moose, Obaba, Happousai, Ukiou, Kunou, Kodachi and Kouchou, Ranma and Genma share the same intro).

So in a Fact, there are 18 chars with same gameplay and fx, 7 of them have transformation to their totems, 12 of them have Intro, game have logo, opening, and ending/credits scene, mugenhook implemented to give animations to the portraits in the select screen, reshade implemented if you have some cool filters. I know Ranma is old for a lot of people, but all we know this Anime deserves a game like this or better. So hope all of you enjoy."

I rediscovered this game few weeks ago.
I really liked it.
As I said somewhere else. It have all the fovourite elements from the SNES Ranma games. Best choices here.

I just downloaded this game! It is something that I kind of wanted to do at some point. It pretty much combines the 3 SNES Fighting games into one. The idea of characters changing to an alternate form in the middle of a fight by using cold/hot water is GREAT! Very solid game.

I never understood why and how they transform - its hot water?
Yeah, it was a nice idea to put all the games into one - the fans seams to like it a lot. There are few corners to round, I will try to contact the author to see if I can offer help.

And a beat em up version would be cool

Usually. cold water will transform them, and they can transform back with warm water.
It's some kind of charm because of different ancient magic lakes they fall in in the past. (sorry my sentence is in weird english and unprecise, but this is the idea)

I’m in the camp that thinks your effort at this sort of game was more consistient, but I still like the Mugen game plenty, and it too has cool ideas, like the transformations and playable minor characters. The problem is that there seems to be a bit of sprite clash going on between characters, especially the minor characters who were only in one game. (There also exists at least one more character from the series that has been done as a standalone by Jhfer).

Both games have plenty of potential, and either one of them could end up as the definitive Ranma experience.

The Ranma 1/2 series I thought was cool. I first met playing their games on the SNES, I liked the characters even before I knew they had anime/manga series.
The series has a lot of potential. Some characters have unexplored features in the games: Herb changes to female form when wetting in cold water (appeared only in manga series). Taro fell into another lake in jusenkyo (after 1st apparition, but only in manga series) where an octopus drowned and went on to have tentacles on its back and drop octopus ink through its fingers.

Rouge was a character created for an old mugen project of Ranma for WinMugen in the Brazilian forum called PaodeMugen. The forum no longer exists and I lost contact with PCTIM, which was doing the project. In addition to Rouge, I did one Genma in human form and an edited female Ranma of the game hard battle, with new special attacks, plus some scenarios (some edited from the third pc engine CD game). The idea of this old project would be to face The Saffron as the last boss (enemy of the arc of the "mount phoenix" of the manga series).
Rouge switched to her second form only in some special moves, did not have enough sprites to make an alternative mode like Ranma and others that fell into some Jusenkyo lake. That could be why they didn't add her. She is a character who appeared only in manga serie and in a PSX game: Ranma 1/2 Battle Renaissance. But she didn't take her second form in this game.

I'm thinking of doing a beat´n up of them after finishing some things in the Mega Man game, based on the first Ranma 1/2 Movie "Big Trouble in Nekonron, China".

I accept suggestions for characters bases to edit The Seven Lucky Gods of Martial Arts

and for these masked characters in the background of this image, for minions:

I've already started separating the colors of some characters from Ranma 1/2 hard battle. Some of them have colors mixed with skin tone and outline. So, the process tends to take longer to finish.

From Ranma´s sprites, seem to be missing some animation frames in this sprite sheet, such as win pose of him laughing and the specials of energy ball and the ryu sho te ha, at least. Of the others characters, I'm not sure.
Besides them, I must have the sprites saved somewhere, from Taro (Monster form) and Ranma (Female form), already with separate colors. I need search for them.
