i don't know man....

back in the 2000's i watched the episode 2 times after i torrented or e-muled the thing, and i found it very funny and it has elements of true fun, for what ammounts to be a cynical cash grab attempt....

the cast must have been on drugs at the time and so the prouducers....

and after the horrible soul-less things like Kenobi , book of bobba fett, mandalorian season 3 & Accolyte, the holyday special seems way better

as a person of a certain generation, where finding stashes of playboys in the woods and vhs movies of adult content where a rite of passage, all i can say the music of this level is porn music, it is a sega genesis rendition of some XXX scene....
 
Interestingly, there is even a short film that stars Michael Jackson in it. A concept to explore for a new Star Wars spin-off game?
 
@kimono -there is rumorsmout there that disney wants to make EO star wars canon, or at least give him a cameo

even weirder, it seems that the antagonists in captain EO might have been an inspiration for the borg and the Borg queen for star trek TNG
