I downloaded all 4 of the files and part 1 will not open do I have to combine them as 1 big file?
Put them in same folder and unpack with WinRAR.

Hey there, I recently found out about this game and willing to try it. So, little question here - should I play Legend of the Double dragon first? Like is LOTD the first game, in terms of story and Ultimate is a sequel? Or Ultimate is just the final version of LOTD and the story (+stages, bosses, cutscenes) are the same? And in this case I can just go for Ultimate DD and skip the older version? (LOTD)

If I'm not mistaking UDD is the prequal and LOTDD is suppose to be a retelling movie of the events of UDD

I've just finished the game for the first time, but got some weird ending, where I got transported into DD1 retro stage, and Abobo was the final boss. I thought the game will return me back to the slums level, but nope, that was the ending
Is there a list of routes for all endings and how to get them? I remember somebody made a convenient map with all routes for SOR remake back in the day, so maybe there's something like that for this game?

Yeah, it's clear with routes A-B-C at the beginning of Duke's castle. But what about secrets from city slums stage? I know that there should be a way to see turtles and toads, but I wonder how.
@Mr.Q! please shed some light
. I have found your long video where you show how to get to turtles by hitting 2 trash bins, but it looks like it worked only for LOTDD, but not for Ultimate. Hitting the first trash bin spawns a black cat, but after that I don't know what to do.So, what are the condition for all secrets of the slums stage?

As I understand, the secret portal in Slums appear only for the 16 bit soundtrack version of story mode and it always takes you to 8bit stage. The door/portal does not appear here if you are playing 80s synthwave version, for example. So, as I understand, the portals are in different places for each mode and each soundtrack version of story will take you to fixed secret stage?
P.S. also, it looks like playable turtles and toads were cut from Ultimate, as they were in LOTDD version, right? But they may return in the Ultimate plus version when it is released?
