I liked the idea and the feeling of the game.
But there are some error on the lighting, take a look:

See the yellow arrows? It shows to which direction the lighting is been casting. If you take a look at the walls, you will notice the shadows goes in 45º upward to right, while the light on the characters goes downward, which doesn't makes sense. Also, if the light is been cast in 45º upward, that area in the back (yellow arrow at the top left) should not be darkened, because the light would lit that area.

You have to make those light angles to match each one.

Yes the shadow should be facing the right direction, It looks like a small detail, but fixing it would make the game more consistent in term of light source.

Good work on sprites and stages. Some walls needs texture and maybye tags.  Are you working alone on this project?
You've got guts to make all original graphics and I know this will take some long time :)

I'll try our demo/completed game as soon as you can release it.
 
Daniel99j: I tested and that's good that you've made all character and customs stages, I appreciated the effort. One bad point is that the character moves too slowly. Maybye you can add him a throw move also. Nice start nonetheless, congrats ;)
 
I've played the demo and it's a good start. The original images are great work :D

Since this is demo, I can understand number of enemies in stage 2. For full game, I suggest reduce enemies and extend playing field instead

BTW the boss at end of stage 2 could use higher aggression to make him deadlier
