bindentity, but similar command?

I love the bindentity command. It "binds" either the player or the enemy to each other.
BUT, it kinda "teleports" the entity as per axis. It looks clunky and awkward.

Is there a command that acts, lets say as a "magnet"? I mean, once the command activates, then the entity starts walking/running smoothly to the other entity, and not just "teleporting"?

What exactly are you trying to do? Are you wanting an entity to willingly follow another entity with normal movement? Force an entity toward another (like MM3 Magnet Man)? Or is it more like satellite power ups seen in many shooters? They all require very different approaches.

Wow, you caught me off guard here.
In my specific move I would like to "Force an entity toward another".

But tbh, if you can guide me for all of the ones you mentioned above with links or examples/scripts, I could really use them as reference and adjust them in other moves.🙏

For now I managed to play around my move by using a combination of "velocity" & "bindentity" commands. It's not perfect, but it's acceptable. Far from ideal though.
