Android Apk not creating folders?

The Android APK of Openbor Version 4 build 7612 isn't creating the folders for me to put my Paks and stuff in. Has anyone experienced this?

I deleted it all and installed an apk of Version 3 build 6391 and when I launched it, it automatically created the necessary folders.

Then.. I uninstalled, left those folders from V3 and reinstalled apk V4. Launched it and it still didn't recognize my paks of folders. It's not creating a log either.

Any tips for me?

This is related to the Android security level required during the engine compilation. The v3 builds were compiled with a lower security level, but the v4 had to increase it due to the latest Android version requirements.

I compiled an experimental v4 build with the same level as the v3 just for tests, you can download it here. However, you may experience some extra warnings from the operating system, like happens with v3.

PS: This build does not change how the engine works, just how the Android build is compiled.

@Kratus & @Skull Kingz -

i am curious, does accessing developer mode on the android device help at all?
as near back last year dev mode on some devices i handled seemed to have openbor work... (the frequent bug was to have to open the app 2 times)

Hey man! Thanks for the compiled version! I was about to give up when I found your post and your version did install in my Retroid Pocket Classic. Are you posting you compiled versions in a github or something? Where should I look for future updates of yours?

Hi friend. Glad that it worked fine :)
Since this is just a test build, unfortunately it will not receive updates. Instead, I recommend getting new updates from the next official builds.
However, since this build is based on one of the latest and most stable v4 ones, no need to worry for now.
